Nestled in the heart of Ossett, Moss & Moon is a sanctuary for healing, balance, and connection.

You’ll find us just off the main square, next door to the Tyre House and opposite the Police Station.

Getting Here

We’re easy to find whether you’re arriving by car, bus, or on foot.

Parking:

Parking is convenient and just a short walk from the studio. The nearest options include:

• Illingworth Street Car Park (6 Illingworth St, WF5 8AL) - FREE
• Ventnor Way – Banks Yard Car Park (Ventnor Way, WF5 8NT)
• Jubbs Terrace Car Park (Jubbs Terrace, WF5 8AB)

Please check signage on arrival for any pay-and-display fees or time limits. Wakefield Council offers two hours of free parking daily in most council-owned, off-street car parks in main town/city centres since November 17, 2025, you are still required to get a ticket from the machine.

Public Transport:

Ossett Bus Station is just a few minutes’ walk away, with regular services from Wakefield, Dewsbury, and surrounding areas. The nearest train stations are Wakefield Westgate and Dewsbury, both around a 10–15-minute drive or short bus journey from Ossett town centre.

Accessibility

Please note that Moss & Moon is located upstairs on the first floor, and unfortunately there is no wheelchair access at this time. We understand that accessibility is important and are always happy to assist wherever possible.

A bell will be located at the bottom of the stairs — if you need assistance, simply ring it once and one of us will come down to help you safely to the studio.

If you’re visiting for an evening appointment, please be aware that the upstairs doors are locked for security when only one member of staff is present. Once inside, there’s a chair at the top of the stairs where you are welcome to sit and relax while waiting for your session to begin.

Local Call-Outs

For those unable to access the studio, we offer limited availability for local call-outs within approximately one mile of Ossett Town Centre.

• This service is for women only and must have been agreed in advance of booking
• Appointments ideally need to be booked at least two weeks in advance. This is to accommodate for travel time to and from the location.
• An additional fee applies to cover travel and setup time.
